Try8085

Try8085 running on macOS with two simulated devices

Try8085 is an integrated development environment and simulator of the 8085 microprocessor. It is intended as an educational tool for teaching and studying the 8085 assembly language.

Features

  • Simulated 8085 bytecode runtime.
  • 4 simulated external devices: graphical display, keyboard, ADC/DAC, and a block of eight 7-segment indicators.
  • Built-in text editor with syntax highlighting for the 8085 assembly language.
  • Integrated interactive debugger.
  • Easy-to-use disassembler and memory navigator.

Installation

Try8085 is available for macOS and GNU/Linux (64-bit only). It comes with 4 virtual devices and code examples.

Building from source

Build prerequisites:

  • Qt 5.6.0 or later
  • g++ 4.8 or later

Use qdevelop to build the solution.
