DND drop marker should appear midway between two blocks

we actually don't really know where the block would appear. the frontend might be putting in padding or wrapping around blocks.
So possibly advanced case might be to have some marker or control where that drop marker would appear.
But default best guess is midway between. And the link length would should be avg of the two lengths if they are different lengths?
