I'm encountering an issue with Alpine.js where variables lose their state after navigating to another page and then using the browser's back button to return to the previous page.

Here's the error I'm getting:

alpine.min.js:1 Alpine Expression Error: item is not defined

It seems that the data or variables defined in the Alpine.js component are no longer available when I return to the previous page using the back button. This disrupts the functionality of my page, as it relies on those variables to dynamically render content.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a page with Alpine.js where a variable is defined (e.g., x-data with some state).
2. Navigate to another page.
3. Use the browser's back button to return to the previous page.
4. Observe that the Alpine.js variables are no longer defined, resulting in an error.

Thanks for the tip! it turns out the issue was preserving the state when the partial gets swapped.
