@nbelyh - Also, could you please provide the following information to help us better assist you? If available, please share any relevant error logs. |
Thank you for coming back to this. Unfortunately I do cannot provide steps to reproduce the issue. It "just happens" sometimes (intermittently, i.e. more or less random). Today the link works, tomorrow the same link stops working. I will try to collect more information so that I can provide the steps, or film a short video, and add a as a comment to this issue. |
@nbelyh - Could you please share the Teams Client logs collected after seeing this dialog? This will help engineering team to figure out the root cause. Please share logs at [email protected]. |
Dear Teams team,
We periodically face the following issue: navigating to the "deep links" to our custom tab, results in error "tab not found or was deleted", like this:
If, after receiving this message, you actually go to that team where the link points to, and open that tab manually, the link start working. I.e. if you navigate such a link again, the tab will be opened properly. And it will also open tomorrow, etc. I.e. the tab is actually there, just the link does not open it. Looks like it happens more often for the tabs that were not used for quite a while (like, weeks), but that may be subjective.
The link looks like this:
Example:
The issue happens both in desktop and web clients. Any recommendation what to look for? We cannot provide exact steps to reproduce as the issue happens Intermittently, buy a customer. The link that worked before stops working, and start working again if you navigate to that tab "manually". Looks somewhat like some cache issue?
